Back Blip

What an fab day this was.

Glorious sunshine and blue skies.

Day One of our holiday in an amazing cottage in Badrallach.

Cottage was just superb with gas lighting, peat stove, solid fuel range cooking - and they had installed a couple of electric sockets and a gas hob and provided a mirror for "those that like their luxuries" we were told.

Our first walk in the area led us to the glorious beach - the only company we'd had on the way had been some Highland Cows - so we had complete and utter peace for a good run around with Lester and to eat our sand covered sandwiches (it was a rather windy!)

We had the most fabulous week here - probably one of the very best holidays we've had - and Lester was in his element - out with us all day - long walks - then cuddles at night.

He died not even four weeks after this photo was taken, so this stunning photo became our special reminder of him - it holds such wonderful memories.

This was back blipped on 5th September 2010 - Lester would have been 14 today.
