One Step Ahead

The grateful parents of a former pupil have given a gift to the school to enable all the children to learn to read music. It has been decided that Y3 will start with recorder lessons and a volunteer among the staff has agreed to teach them.

Only problem is she has not played the recorder since her own school days. The first lesson is on Wednesday so it was down to some serious practise this morning.

If only you could hear the sweet sounds! Still it gave me the chance to play with DOF.
