Friday evening at the park

It's been a great week for the weather. After dinner this evening we headed out on the bikes and along to the park. We had headed out a little later than planned as we had to spend half and hour looking for one of the Rooster's stinky shoes.

Mr Reid and I took our after meal cup of tea with us and drank it alfresco while the kids had a half hour run about. Once our tea was finished it was time for us to join in...no show without punch and all that...I had a wee swing whilst Mr R propelled the three bigger ones around on this bit of equipment...not sure what you call that. It's a bit like a piece of play equipment I remember as a child called a witches hat...but it's not!

As you can see the light was fading quickly as we played in the park. We headed back home shortly after this and it was dark by the time we had done the 10 minute cycle home. The kids are still a bit wobbly on their bikes so they cycle on the pavement so their lack of lights on this occasion wasn't an issue:-/
