What a day!!
Helicopters overhead and "highway to hell" playing as we walk down the start!!
Got to hand it to the French they do these things properly.
Swim easy, bike easy until the last 1/3 of the alp then it was all downhill from here (well for me anyway!!) I was a bloated, plodding mess for 21km with some unpleasant after effects for MrsB to put up with as I got my bike back and we drove back down.
But it was great thing to be part of and I saw some amazing things (and learnt a bit too! - I'll be back and run properly one day)
