Poorly Izzy Doll

Apologies for this rushed portrait, taken hastily on the black and white setting of the camera (which isn't too bad actually!), but Mama has a poorly Izzy Doll today.

Yesterday afternoon Izzy came out in rather a nasty rash, which I put down to the fact that like Lucy, she often suffers from eczema. However, when Izzy woke up this morning, the rash had worsened and was now all over her body; a raised, red, lumpy rash, similar in colour and appearance to a 'port-wine stain'.

I called the doctors and described little Izzy's symptoms, and was told to take her straight up to hospital. Off we went, and the doctor who saw Izzy was quite certain that this was a nasty allergic reaction to a food substance. The trouble is, Mama has no idea what it might be, as Izzy hasn't eaten anything especially unusual in the last few days.

We were sent home with a prescription for Piriton, and told to keep a food diary. Mama is not entirely convinced that this shall get rid of the monster rash, but we shall give it a try!
