Coffee Pied Piper of Hamburg

This looks like a bourgeois scene, colourful tables surrounded by theatre companies'posters at the National Arts Festival in Grahamstown. But can you smell the unmistakeable sunbaked-earth aroma drifting from Garvey's coffee caravan down there?
Seeing as I only drink one precious cup a day, the stakes are high: if I drank a crap cup of coffee, I can't have another one to make up for it till the next day. Garvey makes the best coffe imaginable - he describes the first time he tasted his own crema-topped espresso shot as ?a jaw-dropping Zen moment?. The man doesn't lie, but Hamburg in the Eastern Cape, where the blue caravan lives is a long way away. Just like zen.
