The Silver Spoon

When grandpapa and I became engaged 30+ years ago my mother-in-law sent down 'a hope chest' from the North East, from where my husband hails. This was a sort of tradition to make sure that we had numerous household articles to start off our married life. Included in them was this nickel silver table spoon. I must use it daily and have often wondered why it has 'Lockharts cafe' engraved on it, but have never asked-until today! Evidently Mum-in-law bought a job lot of cutlery when the cafe closed. Nothing more sinister than that!!
Anybody from Newcastle remember that cafe?
