Today's blip was going to be a stunning action shot from the inaugural Ellon Pedal Car Championships, full of colour, speed and excitement...

Well, that was the plan anyway. Except we arrived in town just after the race had finished!

Grabbed this shot as we walked back across the barley field.

This is the same field that I captured back in May.
