Back in the garden again
Busy in the garden yesterday clearing away rebar, huge and heavy bags of cement, old windows, drywall, strange bits of metal, air conditioning ducts, spray cleaning and then moving the teak now slightly weathered IKEA furniture into place. There's still work to be done so to be fair to the guys, the big clean up will happen when the balconies and ballustrades are in place and the snagging list is finished, however, I just wanted the boys back in the garden again, and so did they by the looks of things.
Finished when darkness had fallen. My finger's in a splint because of a strange cracking sound which hurt during the night caused by said hard labour. Well, it is Labor Day tomorrow, after all.
Today did a huge amount of editing, sorting out of disks (why did I take 4,000 shots on the Disney cruise. Ridiculous! never mind the rest of the holiday), and some catch up Blips.
Tonight out with new photography friend Dawn. A rare treat for "mum" as Reuben now calls me in imitation of how I would call out to my own mum when back home, same intonation too. She's just been accepted into the LA art academy prior to flying home to London tomorrow, so I anticipate a few margaritas on the agenda.
Some time to myself this week for work, pleasure and photographic passions, prior to a mammoth period by myself with the boys about to ensure.
Reuben very healthy, a staggering 4 months of good health, unheard of and despite visiting 6 countries with germs he was not previously privy to and Callum today pooing like a maniac. Good job it's Mama's day of rest ;-)
In case you wanted to see a bit of the Scandinavian cruise with a little teaser thrown in in Norway and having fun with my curves.
