Black-belliedPlover

Today the sun was shining, it was not hot, and we went down to the beach to see what we could photograph. The hurricane did bring up a large number of huge quahogs and surprisingly the goals were not eating them. There was the usual shorebirds and this one black bellied plover changing into winter plumage. I was sitting in the sand and and was able to get this photograph.
