Rotunda

In County Hall Northampton the entrance to the Council chamber is via the small but perfect Rotunda. Or is it so perfect? The question must be the colour of the eight roses in the ceiling.
The Yorkshire Rose is White and the Lancastrian Rose is Red and I always considered the rose of the Shires Northamptonshire to be Magenta!
Tomorrow I will be visiting a number of interesting buildings in another area and reurn on Friday the 10th when all being well I will back blip my absent days
