The Dog Star

There's very often a fine line between work and pleasure. Sometimes that line disappears altogether . . .

Meet Sirius. He pops in every few weeks for his acupuncture treatement and never fails to run rings round me in a frustratingly charming way. He's like a big kid and a mature gent at the same time - the Sean Connery of the dog world - and one of my favourite patients. I meet some real characters in the veterinary world, and this dog and his owner never fail to brighten up my day.

It also helps that he bears an uncanny resemblence to an old best friend of mine . . . .
