Hills 2

For all the desert's wide open space around Indio, CA it is extremely difficult to get to a position that provides an elevated vantage point for the surrounding terrain. There are few hills apart from those surrounding the valley. There are many, many gated/walled/secured areas limiting access to what few bumps there are in the landscape. I need to spend a little more time scouting locations before the light turns to something worth photographing, so that I can be in a better place to capture the amazing desert light and area landscapes. Maybe tomorrow if it turns out to be not as hot.
