Fourmile Canyon Wildfire

A wildfire near Boulder broke out this morning. It has been burning all day, and due to high winds was hard to contain, and may burn for several days. Sadly, many homes have been burned, but as of 7 pm no news reports mentioned any injuries or casualties. This shot was taken near Viele Lake, where just days before I had been capturing the sunset. Many others were here also taking photos. We saw several firebomber plans flying back and forth trying to contain the fire.
