Woman in the Shadows

The woman caught my eye because she is waiting at a bus stop, perhaps not for the bus at all, with her face turned away from traffic.

The way the shadow covered her caught my eye. If you look at the woman closely, and you live in the US, you probably understand why I titled it this way.

Perhaps she's not "in the shadows" at all. But there are many that look like her that are.

This is the first candid shot I felt comfortable capturing without drawing attention to myself or the subject.

The exposure is not as clear as I'd like...
