Blackness Castle

The mast tower and courtyard.

Blackness Castle is referred to as the "ship that never sailed". The far tower is the stern tower, and the nearer is the mast tower. To take the photo I'm stood on the stem or bow tower which juts out into the Forth, just like a ships bow.
