The Ruins

This mansion was built in the middle of a large sugarcane field sometime in the early 1900's in honor of the late wife of the owner. During World War 2 when the Japanese invasion was closing in, the lavish mansion was deliberately burned to prevent the enemy from occupying it. Because the house was adorned with heavy hardwood, it took four days before the fire was put out. Even today, its beauty glows like the risen phoenix, and when the sun is just right, its sunset rays cast a warm golden hue to the majestic manor.
