On the way up to Kirkstone Pass...
I love this view. I found it totally by accident one day as I was heading back north via a scenic route through the Lake District rather than via the M6 motorway. As I rounded a bend on this very bendy & fun-to-drive road I was confronted by this. I had to stop & luckily there was a parking area handily placed.
I later discovered that the grouping of building you see in the bottom right of this shot were once owned by Beatrix Potter and she used this farm to breed Herdwick Sheep.
