A Surprise Gift

After a rainy day yesterday I did not feel like going to work today. Depressed, low and very tired after a sleepless night. However, my day was brightened by receiving my first 'Eid Gift' by a very dear friend (Gloria), who works with me.

With beautiful remember able words, she gave me a Silver Photo frame of a snap taken from her cell phone during the last winters. She also gave me the traditional present of "Colourful Bangales" on Eid too.

Later I had a very good time at Zahra's Place (Pieces of a Jigsaw Puzzle ). We just love to talk and talk and talk, a very good way of letting out our negative energies and reinforcing positive thinking and actions.

It is such a blessing to have friends.

Adversity does teach who your real friends are.
