Chasing the Ghost of Summer
Ahhhhh. The Photographic life. It's all berets and knowing glances at Arbus, as your staff set up your shoot. Not.
I could have been maimed reclaiming this tree wreckage. It is WINDEEEEEE in ABZ! I chickened out of the rest of the walk with the Black Menace due to the forseeable two month stay in hospital being rebuilt from near death from angry trees hurling limbs at me.
I picked up some branches and legged it home.
Here are my tips for a "rigged shoot":
1) Make sure you iron the sheet. This is important.
2) Black should be black. Not really really really really dark blue.
3) Cotton is guff. Buy velvet. Or marry a goth with a big skirt.
4)Use Blu Tack to hold the branch otherwise it falls over mid exposure.
Accidental Photography- Unbelievably it captured what I was feeling today.
And I got a shot of the ghost of Summer.
