Momentous day

Today, with the help of my brother Phill, I located my paternal grandfather, who has remained hidden from us until now. Partly because he originated in Yorkshire, and not Newcastle Upon Tyne like the rest of the family.

As soon as I found him, the marvel that is Ancestry came up with my great grandfather and great grandmother, followed swiftly by my great great grandfather and great great grandmother...

I am so happy that my father's side of the family tree now has sprouted firm branches.
