St Austell Market House and Celtic Cross

We visited St Austell today... the first time for about 6 months.... the new shopping centre has sprung up since last visit.

The town dates back to around 1189. The Market House is one of the few buildings left in the town centre that date from the 1850s when St Austell started to prosper from the China Clay industry.
