The Great Escape

It's getting to the time of year again where hubby and I have to be on high alert for what I describe as "massive" spiders running around the house. This particular spider decided to run across my craft room carpet, cue my girly scream, not so much because I'm scared of spiders but it's a guaranteed way for my in house spider catcher to respond :)

The preferred method of entrapment in our house is a clear plastic cover from a cd spindle for those that don't fit into the modern day must have battery operated spider catcher from Lakeland. I've taken pictures of spiders caught in previous years, more in disbelief that what is known as a house spider is so big, by comparison this one trying to escape is just a baby.

Note - No spiders were harmed in the making of this blip, hubby took this one outside to run free. If it had been up to me it's fate may have been slightly darker.
