Finished at last!

After months of work the lounge decoration project is finally over. It cost three times more than expected but is a great improvement on the tired and dated decor we had before. We waited until we retired to tackle the room, knowing it would take plenty of time, effort and cash.

There were delays as we waited for deliveries of furniture and materials; the curtains came from India. The detail is very important to us so finding the right items for the room also added to the delays.

With autumn here and winter biting at its heels, we look forward to enjoying spending quiet times in this room, satisfied that all that hard work and expense was worth it.
