Tooth 2
Seems teeth are like buses in this house. Evie lost one last night!
However, tooth fairy had a problem. When Evie woke at 6, she came to me and said 'it's nearly get up time and I noticed my tooth is still under my pillow..'
'go back to bed, she will still come before morning I'm sure'
I lay there wondering how on earth the tooth fairy was going to manage to slip a coin under the pillow of a child that's now fully awake (and suspicious..)
Anyway....forward wind to 7.15. And Alfie gets out of his bunk and finds a note and coin that had been left behind the door of their room.
I heard him give it to Evie.
Seems the tooth fairy had been disturbed in the night when Alfie got out of bed for a cuddle at 3am. So she had slipped it under their door.
I heard the children being delighted with it all.
"Oh Alfie, you got up when the tooth fairy was here!! did you see her?"
"Really! Oh wow! no I didn't. But she's invisible I think! She must have dropped this in shock. In flight!"
Evie rushed to ask me what to do with the tooth and the little note that she'd left for the fairy under the pillow (she has a very familiar relationship with the tooth fairy now..).
I suggested she leave it and the fairy will no doubt return for it tonight.
I'm sure she won't forget...
