If you drop by this page on a regular basis you may know of my part time job as a whisky spy.

I did a wee bit of detective work today at Dallas Dhu distillery. It hasn't been in production since 1982 and is now run by Historic Scotland. It lacked the wonderful aroma of most distilleries but the good thing was you got to see bits of the distillery that you can't normally. Like the inside of the wonderful copper stills.

Worth a visit. And of course it has a wee shoppie at the end for the essential purchase.
