Set for flight...

It is St Peter Port Harbour - a place of bright sunlight, deep blue sky this morning - with Herm, Sark, Alderney, France all to be seen on the horizon. The boats are coming and going, and the Condor Ferry has already left the island on its journey to Weymouth. The daily event of the arrival of yet another cruise liner has taken place. One of the Barclay brothers' launches (twin millionaire owners of the Daily Telegraph, Littlewoods, the Ritz.... and the island of Brecqhou) has just departed. As has transport for ordinary people to Herm.

A normal working day. And in the middle of a harbour, poised on a buoy, this chap is preparing to fly.

And so am I!
