Arrival

After supplying the ever-so-happy-looking homeland security with enough details about my 'vacation', racing through Manhattan with three heavy heavy suitcases to collect my keys from Esme (the girl I'll be crashing at these first couple of days) I finally touched down in Williamsburg, Brooklyn in an old industrial building on the corner of Roebling Street and Metropolitan Avenue ( :) ). After unpacking my stuff I met up with my friend Thijs (who turned out to live on Roebling as well), my boss Adam and his girlfriend Claire to have some oysters, chicken and a fair amount of beer. Feeling right at home already!
