EARTHQUAKE DAMAGE

This morning the council workman arrived to start fixing the earthquake damage to the road outside our place . A team of men has been flown down from Auckland to assist with the clean up. Our road has been closed since Saturday and will be several days before it is driveable again. As you can see from behind the digger there is a very big crack opened up which continues for some distance. It also runs across the top of our drive under our garage and the back of the house. We are waiting to have the damage to our buidings asessed by insurance and it looks at this stage like a right off.
