Going to bat for our internet link ~ seven miles away by microwave transmission ~ our friendly technician makes sure we'll be able to keep in touch efficiently.

This antenna used to be mounted on a pole in the middle of the roof. Moving it here makes for a more watertight roof and a cleaner ridge line.

(Keeping the bat house where it is, on the other hand, makes for happier bats and fewer mosquitoes when we're actually sitting outside and talking face to face!)
