DAY 5: Something Old

If I had the chance to go to Jerusalem today, I'll probably blip the 2000-year old Olive Tree or one of the old churches there but because I'm not feeling well today, I settled for Fany's 33-year old sewing box.

According to her, 1977 when she came to Israel as an immigrant from Romania, she bought this sewing box from her first salary. There were only 2 things she wanted to buy that time, a sewing box and a set of Encyclopedia complete from A-Z (yes they survived without Google that time). This sewing box is 33 years old and older than me (thanks God, I still have a year for number 3-. No offense guys. hihi). I don't know if everything here is as old as the box but there are pins, pin cushions and stuffs here that already turned yellow and rusty. I fancy old things. It serves as time machine and brings me back to those days when I was still my mother's dream. =)

Woot! Day 5 challenge done. I didn't expect that I could last this long.. LOL

for Day 6: Something Square!

Note: As I read some comments, I decided to write this note. I don't consider aging as being OLD. For me, a person who draws positive feeling and happiness in his/her life will remain young until his/her last days on earth. However, at 29, I consider myself old but I know in my heart that I will be forever 21.. hehehe.
