Life is good!

I got up this morning with a spring in my step!

I wasn't feeling down about the huge mound of ironing to defeat, the weather outside being grey and damp, and the fact that the rest of my day was just boring housework.

I dropped my youngest at school, then, headed to a local reservoir for an early walk. It was drizzly, and for most of the walk I had the place to myself. Just two dog walkers passed, saying 'hello' as they did. Two women, having a heated conversation walked by without noticing me; a good thing, as I had a wet behind after slipping on a rock!

Just over an hour after dropping my daughter off, I was back at home, sipping hot Vimto (bliss!), with the ironing board at the ready. I must remember not to watch 'My Sister's Keeper' again. At least I didn't need to use the water spray on my iron while I was watching it!!!!

Life is good! I even like the rain and drizzle today. It makes this country a more beautiful place.
