Altocumulus stratiformis

Was a lovely evening, especially nice for taking photographs (nice light and some great cloud detail), so I took a quick trip over to Salford Quays.

The building here is City Lofts, where our flat is - you can just make out the NV buildings next to it.

I think the clouds are called altocumulus stratiformis - a mid level layer of cloud.
