Abusive git
Pixelart arrived from Hyderabad this morning. Delhi is almost the gateway to the Himalayas and brings many travellers to its doors. I wasn't aware today was a holiday, or I would have taken a day off to meet him.
The weather was indifferent to our plans. Brimming with humidity, it burst out into sudden showers by afternoon. Finally the sky cracked open to reveal the sun's last rays before the day settled lazily into dusk. Accustomed to the luxury of the Hyderabad weather Pixelart almost collapsed at the extreme heat and humidity of Delhi. We made our way around the old city, ate at one of the famous places, shot a bit. Observed many little stories unfolding, but unfortunately I do not have enough time to note them down. There is a mammoth ride tomorrow and I am a bit apprehensive about it.
Had to shoot this fellow. He was sitting ceremoniously before the temple, abusing away to his heart's content. He seemed well fed since his voice was loud. Pixelart might have squirmed a little at his litany, but S and I had to laugh. He is a very rare Delhiite who does not enjoy cursing. It is a reflection of the culture in this part of the country.
After all the scrambling, returned home to watch twilight unfold from the comfort of the bed. It's been a while since I have had shots to spare, so without discretion, I have uploaded today's shots here(the last 16).
P.S. Also rather cool to be shortlisted among the top 10 from around 3500 shots for Unstaged!
