Equinox tide on The Dart

River dwellers of The River Dart have experienced very high and low tides .... makes living on the water interesting. At high tide we have friends living in a boat house (a beautiful one) waking up to waves lapping at their windows as they awake, for us we were stranded as the ferry struggled to land on either quay as the tide dipped to 0.0. But hey ... just heightens that feeling that we live on an island.
