At last - rain!

Woke up to the sound of rain falling heavily on our metal roof - it reminded me of the Indian monsoon. We've not had real rain for a long time (it's relatively rare in Baku, drizzle is much more common) and pretty soon the city flooded. We had to pop out so got stuck in the traffic as people tried to move throught the city without getting stuck in an open drain or flooding their car. This blip captures the two opposites of the traffic here - a Lada (albeit in good condition) behind a RangeRover. The passenger in the Lada was smoking allowing me to capture another typical sight in Baku.
