First day in Berlin. The journey here was ok, only a small delay to the EasyJet flight, which at 6.30 in the morning, when we'd got up at 3.30 to get to the airport in time, was not welcome.

Anyway, you can't go far in Berlin without seeing graffiti. I am not sure why there is so much, but it's everywhere. This shot was of a building in East Berlin that is used as studio space for artists and is absolutely covered with graffiti ( video here).

The rest of the day was spent looking round the Jewish Museum which was really interesting, both the displays and the architecture, and then out in the evening for a meal at a local German restaurant near to our hotel. Good hotel, by the way. I can thoroughly recommend it.
