Dredging

I am dredging through my experiences of the day to see what I can fill the next two paragraphs with.

But actually, I have now realised that I have nothing to tell you. I did nothing today that you'd be interested in. And I was too busy doing dull things to surf the net, listen to the radio or read the papers, so I have nothing topical to link to.

I can't even think of any music that you'd like to hear.
