Seafood Festival
This is New Orleans after all, there is always a festival of some sort. This is New Orleans musician Kermit Ruffins performing. I don't generally eat seafood, but it was still a great festival, with food, drink, art, music, and cooking demonstrations. I like the streetcar running along the side of the stage. Kermit Ruffins played a moving rendition of America the Beautiful as tribute to the victims of September 11.
Well, it has been a few months since I have blipped, but I am officially caught up from the summer. I was not consistent with my photo taking, but I have posted what I had. I had expected my move to New Orleans would allow me to get settled, but life is anything but that right now. Regardless, the highlights from the summer are:
Freret Street Market
Crooked Houses
Five Years Later
We'll see what the future brings, blipping and otherwise.
