Walking down to the beach yesterday, with the Eid holiday crowd taking up most of the beach, there were kids laughing and screaming, jet skis roaring across the surf, every colour umbrella dotting the sand. I decided the only way I was going to get the shots I wanted was to wake up early, and get there before everyone else. I set my alarm as I went to bed last night, not sure that I'd actually be able to get myself out of bed early enough.

Apparently my drive was stronger than even I knew. I was at the beach by about 7:30am and to my surprise I wasn't alone. But as it turns out, that was for the best.
