I'm a leaf Tea-leaf.
Cranston's Food Hall has an "Eatery" upstairs. ANY excuse for a brew.
On the occasions we shop there we usually take the weight off for the duration of a cuppa, where each table has a little plant as a centre piece. (That's Center to the other lot)
I've never considered picking a loose leaf from the soil as theft really, but "Leaf picker-upper" doesn't have the same ring some-how and for the "Furriners" ... "Tea-leaf" is rhyming slang for "Thief".
The centre pot had one leaf in it, somewhat akin to those in the left hand pot.
The one on the right is a slight cheat, in that the entire short section was lying loose on the soil.
Clicky, kindly inform "The Man" I did NOT snap it off.
It may yet be another "space" to watch.
The Shrek's Lug Tree started as the wizened black thing, extreme left.
