Robyn's Birthday!

Came home from work this morning. We ended up getting back to our station last night at about 10.30pm instead of 2am which we thought it was going to be, so that was good!

Kaz and I cleaned the house and got the roast and vegies ready for lunch! Robyn and her family, and Joe & Bev came over about 1pm and we had a delicious roast lamb, which was home grown from Mum and Dad! It weighed over 3kg and our oven book said it was going to take about 5 hours to cook and we only had about 3 1/2 before we were due to eat. I called Mum and she said that she would throw out the book and that she never cooks any roasts more than 3 1/2 hours, so to just turn up the oven a bit and it should be right! She was right, it was cooked beautifully!!

We didn't put Spence down for his sleep because there was too much activity going on and he was playing with Jessie and Kurt so by about 5pm he was tired!! We put the movie Ratatouille on and Spence and I watched that on the couch!
