I have no idea! My entymology is very poor. If I had my time over again I would learn whatever I could about birds, trees, flowers and insects too. Even I can risk a guess that it is some kind of spider - but further than that I cannot go. So if anyone out there.....

S/he is undergoing the standard extraction process for such beasties around here - and in many other households too I guess.

Glass over the insect. Slide card beneath to seal it. Make way far enough down the garden to discourage a return!
