Hygieia

I had a lovely day today with S. An excellent antidote to last week.

We walked down the Water of Leith from Haymarket to Bonnington and back, stopping off for a wander round the Botanic Gardens followed by lunch in Stockbridge. It was busy on the path, lots of folk out for a Sunday stroll or cycle ride.

S & I talked non-stop for the whole six hours we were out - it was great to catch up. Lots of stuff to chat about, and laugh about.

This is the first time I've visited St Bernard's Well, although I've been meaning to go for ages. This is the statue of Hygieia above the pump room, built in 1789.
