Scott's Tale Part 3: Close Call

Part 2

Once outside Scott was amazed by the size of the outside world. "How will I ever find Thomas when this place is so big?" Scott said to himself. Scott thought back to one day when Thomas was talking about wanting to see the outside world. Thomas had said that he wanted to see where the grass ends. That would be as good of a place as any to start looking. So, Scott decided to go to where the grass ends to see if Thomas was there. Once he got there Scott saw that after the grass ends there was some hard rocky surface after it. Scott walked on the hard surface and suddenly heard a loud sound in the distance. He looked behind him and saw a monster barreling towards him. Scott stood frozen to the spot, but as the creature came closer, Scott came to his senses and jumped. He just missed being flattened. Suddenly, this outside world looked a lot more frightening.
