Pomegranate

This is the national fruit of Spain, brought to the country by the Moors in 800AD. I picked these on Friday, we have a pomegranate tree on the ladies 7th tee, they looked ripe enough to eat. They are not quite ready, quite tart so I squoze them and drank the juice, very refreshing and healthy.


Off for a shower then to the airport to pick mum up for her two week holiday, the flight was delayed by an hour and a half, fortunately our friends Keith and Chris are on the same flight so they will have looked after her at the airport.
