The path to the veggie garden
...is almost overgrown. The Tibetan Paeony and the Hylotelephium spectabile are making it difficult for us to get in to harvest our veggies. :-)
This particular Hylotelephium has 'run in the family' at least since Z's grandmother. It has had an incredibly good season this year. Normally the roe deer don't let it become too grand.
This afternoon Z's friend and former colleague P from London was coming over for tea at the allotment. It was so great catching up! She's an amazing lady, more full of energy than most people half her age.
Hope you had a great weekend, too!
