Delays delays and finally cancellation!

The time had come to go home :( we boarded the plane and pushed back off the stand then comes those dreaded words from The Captain 'ladies and gentlemen, we appear to have a problem! I cant start the engine!'

They kept us on the plane for a very long hot two hours whilst they tried in vain to find an engineer to fix the problem. We then disembarked and spent a very frustrating 4 hours in a transit lounge with no real updates or information. Finally they decided to cancel the flight and put us up in a hotel for the night and try again the next day!

Dont feel too sorry for us, altho it was a very tiring tedious day we landed up in a 5* hotel with a pool and the biggest bedrooms you've ever seen. They laid on dinner for us and even breakfast at 0500 this am. Pretty good considering the hotel had about 2 hours notice they were having 150 extra guests to stay and for dinner!

Sadly I wasnt back in time for work this morning!!
