Reach for the sky

Lovely walk in Bushy Park with Brome , Wallis and Boo this afternoon.

This tree caught my eye - it reminded me of the head of the Medusa. The branches look as though they're stretched out towards the sun, though I don't think there's much photosynthesis going on here.
