In early June, Geoff the snake had been an escapee from his terrarium for several weeks. I had been most nakedly luxuriating in the bath when Dr P let out an alarm for assistance as Geoff had been discovered behind the clothes dryer.

May I proffer the advice of experience and never try to catch a fugitive snake whilst parading in one's birthday suit,....... specifically WEAR SHOES.

Mufungo toe is the result of dropping a loaded clothes dryer on my left great toe while trying to avoid squashing the snake.........
